P. Dwarakanath, Treasurer, All India Management Association & Director – Human Resources, Max India Ltd.

Mr. Dwarkanath is Treasurer, All India Management Association.

He is also Director – Human Resources of Max India Ltd, a conglomerate with consolidated revenue of more than $ two billion and having business interests primarily in the insurance and healthcare space. Max India is a JV partner in Max Life Insurance, Max Bupa and Max Healthcare.

He is on the Board of several companies and institutions, including GSK Consumer Healthcare Limited, Max Ventures Limited, Grow Talent Limited besides being on the advisory committee of several leading post- graduate level colleges.

Other positions of eminence he has held in his long career include:

Director – Human Resources and Administration, South Asia of GlaxoSimthKline (GSK) for close to three decades.

During his tenure, GSK was adjudged as one of the top five Best Employers in India for people related practices for several years.

Mr. Dwarakanath has also held several management positions in various professional bodies. He has served as President of National Human Resources Development Network (NHRDN).

For his valuable contributions in the field of Human Resources, Dwarakanath has won several prestigious awards.

He has chaired sessions on Leadership Programs and also has been the key note speaker in may International programs held at Switzerland, Mauritius, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Mr. Dwarakanath brings a rich and varied experience of over four decades to IAS Gurukul. Particularly, his expertise in developing Human Resources as HR Head of two multi- billion dollar MNCs- Glaxo and Max, will enable the Gurukul to use the best and latest techniques for grooming its students. As Treasurer at the apex management body in the country (All India Management Association), he has ensured professionalism in its manner of functioning. At the Gurukul, too, he will ensure that the highest standards of professionalism are maintained.
