Pranay Aggarwal is a leading academician and social scientist.

He is President of Indian Social Science Council.

He is also presently serving as Vice- President of International Sociological Society.

A prolific author, he has written books on diverse topics.

He also regularly contributes articles to leading international social science journals.

He is a recipient of the International Jurists Award.

He has, over the years, mentored and taught a large number of aspirants for the Civil Services Examination, many of whom are today members of the Civil Services.
