About Puru Dubey
Puru Dubey secured All India Rank (AIR) 86 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 in his third attempt. Hailing from Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, he is an engineering graduate (B.Tech in Civil Engineering) from IIT BHU, where he was a gold medalist.
Puru achieved success with Sociology optional. He reached the interview stage twice in his previous attempts and attributed his ultimate success to structured answer writing, conceptual clarity, and understanding the specific requirements of the questions.
