About Prateek Joshi
Prateek Joshi secured All India Rank (AIR) 196 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 in his fourth attempt. He holds an engineering degree from IIT Kanpur and completed his schooling at LK Singhania Education Centre in Gotan, Rajasthan.
Prior to preparing for UPSC, he worked in the corporate sector at Morgan Stanley. He chose Sociology as his optional subject, noting that studying human behavior helped him bridge the gap between engineering and public administration.
