About PARUL CHAUHAN
Parul Chauhan hails from Uttar Pradesh, where she was raised in a rural agrarian family. Her humble background taught her resilience early in life. She moved to Delhi for her higher studies, graduating with a degree in Physics Honors from Delhi University.
For the Civil Services Examination, Parul chose Sociology as her optional subject. She prepared for the subject under the guidance of Pranay Aggarwal at IAS Gurukul, focusing on concept clarity and answer-writing practice. She also participated in mock interview programs at IAS Gurukul and Ensure IAS to build confidence for the personality test.
Her efforts culminated in success when she cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 with an All India Rank of 434. She was allocated to the Indian Police Service (IPS) and placed in the Nagaland cadre.
