About Neelesh Goyal
Neelesh Goyal was born in Karauli, Rajasthan, to Ved Prakash Goyal, a businessman, and Manju Goyal, a homemaker. He completed his early schooling at Eshav Vidya Mandir and MB Public School before moving on to higher technical education. He graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, in 2018.
After completing his engineering degree, Neelesh worked as an engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). Over time, he decided to transition from his technical career to public service, balancing his aspirations with structured preparation.
He cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in his second attempt, opting for Sociology as his optional subject. He has been allocated to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and assigned to the Bihar cadre.
